This project involved the thoughtful extension and reconfiguration of a rural home in Guernsey, designed to create a more open, flexible living space that would better support the client’s evolving needs. Working closely with the homeowner, we reoriented key areas of the ground floor to establish a bright, spacious hub for everyday life, blending practicality with joyful design.

Drawing inspiration from the home’s countryside setting, we introduced a dynamic palette of colour and natural texture to enliven the space, while structural adjustments opened up circulation and invited a stronger connection between rooms. The result is a beautifully balanced environment that feels both modern and welcoming and a space designed to adapt gracefully as family routines and requirements change over time.

By focusing on spatial flow, layered finishes and thoughtful detail, this extension not only creates more room to live but also enriches how the home feels and functions on a daily basis.
