Maybe you have several areas that aren’t quite working, you’re overwhelmed by ideas, or you simply want an experienced eye to help you work out what should happen next.
We’ll spend approximately an hour together in your home, looking at your priorities, how you use the space and what is getting in the way.
I’ll then take everything away and create your personalised Plan of Action, giving you a clear direction and practical priorities to move forward with confidently.

This is a direction and planning service rather than detailed room design. Drawings, full sourcing, 3D visuals and detailed design development can be arranged separately if required.
A flexible block of professional design hours, used where you need them most.
Rather than commissioning a complete room design, you purchase a set number of hours of my time and expertise. We agree what you’d like to achieve first, and I use those hours across the design tasks that will make the biggest difference.
A Design Block might be used to work through several smaller areas, develop a particular element such as fitted storage, help with layouts and furniture choices, guide renovation decisions, source products, prepare drawings, or provide design input as a project progresses.

All professional time is tracked against the block, so you always know what your design time is being used for.
Before we begin, we’ll agree the priorities, and I’ll recommend the most appropriate number of hours.

When you want the complete room worked out.
For rooms where lots of decisions need to come together, I’ll create a cohesive design that considers the space as a whole rather than tackling each choice separately.
The process typically includes:
Concept & direction
Moodboards, layouts, early furniture and finish ideas.
Design development
Furniture, lighting, colours, materials, window treatments, bespoke elements and the details that bring everything together.
Final design
Your final drawings, specifications and/or shopping list, giving you the information you need to implement the scheme confidently.
One consolidated revision round is included.
3D visualisation can also be included where useful, depending on the project and how you prefer to see your ideas.
Because every room is different, Full Room Design is quoted individually following a complimentary initial meeting.
You don’t necessarily need me to manage your renovation in order to have professional design support throughout it.
I can work alongside your architect, kitchen designer, contractors and specialists to help with the design decisions that connect everything together, from layouts and finishes to lighting, joinery, furniture and those inevitable questions that arise along the way.
Depending on the project, this can sit within a Design Block or a fixed-fee design scope.
Contractors are appointed directly by you. My role is to guide and coordinate the design decisions rather than manage day-to-day construction, contractor programmes or workmanship.

Yes. The size of the project isn’t the deciding factor; the scope of design support you need is. I regularly work alongside contractors and other professionals on larger projects.
Yes. It does depend on the project, but product sourcing can form part of your design scope, and procurement can also be discussed separately where appropriate.
I can recommend trades and liaise with them on design matters, but contractors are normally appointed and managed directly by the client or project manager.
Absolutely. If the project develops, we can agree on additional design time or a new scope rather than leaving support open-ended.
